python-loggingx software package provides Generic utilities for the Python logging facility., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-loggingx

python-loggingx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-loggingx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-loggingx *

You will get with python-loggingx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
